Continuity during Coronavirus

NAPIER MANAGEMENT SERVICES LTD CONTINUITY DURING CORONAVIRUS - update from 18 March 2020

I am sure you all understand that these are unique circumstances and we are endeavouring to adapt as best we are able so apologies for the length of this second email update regarding the current situation.

With the coronavirus advice form the government now impacting upon the ordinary working practices of businesses in the UK, we have been working hard to ensure that we will still be able to provide the same level of support to you and your building. I have outlined below how we are adapting as an organisation during this time to ensure that there is as little disruption as possible for our clients and contractors.

For the time being wherever possible please email us – either directly to your property manager if you have their details or tonapier@napiermanagement.co.uk  rather than phone.

Meetings

In line with the government guidelines to minimise contact, and in order to protect our staff,  the Napier team will not be attending any AGMs or Board Meetings or non-urgent site visits at this time,  so your property manager will be in touch with you to either postpone or reschedule your meeting using our telephone conferencing system ( or another similar facility ).

Remote working

We have provisioned that the vast majority of our staff have the capability to work remotely and will be implementing this from the 18 March 2020 and have ensured that they are able to access all Napier resources as necessary. This will ensure that there is minimal disruption in continuity of service in the event that staff are unable to travel, or an individual has to self-isolate.

Offices

All 3 offices will be manned during the day for the time being although the number of staff will be significantly reduced as the majority will be working from home. The offices are not open for meetings or casual callers and are open only for administration purposes. Please post any correspondence through the door/into our dedicated postbox in Bournemouth wherever possible and if you are collecting/dropping off keys then please call or buzz the intercom and let us know you have done so.

Out of Hours Emergency Number 07775 161714 – please remember this is for emergency calls only and operates between 5 pm and 9 am on a weekday and 24 hours a day over weekends and bank holidays.

In the event that the government dictates that all offices are completely closed there will be additional mobile numbers available between 9 am and 5 pm details of which will be on our website and answering machine.

We will continue to revise and review this policy daily and will keep updates on our website.
