Congratulations to Mary-Anne Fenton who has now been promoted and taken over our Major Works Department. Mary- Anne will be looking after the majority of the S.20 work from our Fordingbridge office and we are certain she will be very successful.

Napier were awarded Highly Commended at the News on the Block Property Management Awards on the 5 December 2011 at the awards ceremony in London. Mrs Anne Bebb was there representing the Company to collect the award on our behalf.

Mrs Jenny Smart who joined Napier in June 2001 is retiring at the end of December 2011 - we would like to express our thanks to Jenny for running her Major works department with such dedication and competence. Her contribution to the smooth running of the Property Management Department will be sorely missed.
Congratulations to Suzanne Ivers MRICS BA (Hons) AIRPM, our newest Property Manager, who passed her IRPM Part One Examination with an excellent mark.
Napier are pleased to announce they are sponsoring Claire Upshall who is working unpaid in an orphanage in Tanzania. Please see attached link for more information http://www.africatakethree.blogspot.com
Claire is a local girl who attended Twynham School and then studied to be a Nursery Nurse at Bournemouth and Poole College. This is her third self funded trip to Africa to help at the Cradle of Love Orphanage. Napier are delighted to offer her a some financial support during her stay.

Poole Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Napier are delighted to announce they are sponsoring the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Poole, and recently gave a contribution of £500 as featured in Compass Magazine and are going to fundraise more for the Neonatal Unit over the next 12 months

Ask The Expert
Napier now has regular "Ask The Expert" features in Homes Magazine. To date we have answered queries about a number of issues such as condensation, Freeholders that are not carrying out their obligations and noisy neighbours. Directors' Seminars
Napier are going to arrange a number of seminars for Directors of management companies, free to our existing clients and a nominal sum to Directors that are not clients. It is our intention to have a number of speakers on specialist issues that affect blocks of flats such as Directors and Officers Liability Insurance matters and the new accounting legislation soon to be introduced. We will confirm the date and times in due course.
Exam Success
We would like to congratulate Jane Kelly, one of our Property Managers upon passing her IRPM Part One examination since we last updated the website and is now an Associate of the Institute of Residential Property Management.
London Marathon run for Macmillan Cancer Trust

Surveyors Ombudsman Service
In January 2010 Napier applied to become a member of the Surveyors Ombudsman Service to deal with complaints that are not satisfied using the in house complaints procedure detailed on our website. When we have received all the paperwork relating to this our website and the complaints procedure document will be updated.

We are please to announce that two more members of staff have passed their IRPM part 1 exam, congratulations to Kim Head and Louise Humphries who took the exam in February.
